Vitagora Taste Nutrition Health
Based in the French regions of Burgundy and Franche-Comté, Vitagora, the Taste-Nutrition-Health Innovation Network, represents more than 145 members. This network groups together researchers, food and health companies and higher education establishments that develop together innovation projects around wellness and sustainable eating.
Seniors are a population of particular interest for Vitagora since its creation. Two flagship projects on the theme of seniors, AUPALESENS and VITALIM’SENIOR, have already been launched. In 2012, the European Year of Active Ageing, Vitagora has naturally selected the theme "The Challenge of Ageing Well" for the 7th edition of its annual congress that each year attracts more than 450 participants.
As a continuation of the joint action SENIOR’ACT (www.senior-act.com), initiated in 2011, Vitagora has invited, as co-organiser of this edition of the Congress, the Burgundy Franche-Comté Interregional Gerontology Cluster, a nationally renowned cluster in the subject of ageing.
