One-to-one business meeetings: boost your activity

Why does Enterprise Europe organise business meetings for the Taste-Nutrition-Health Congress?
Enterprise Europe Network is the biggest European support network for companies and SMEs, set up by the European Commission and dedicated to innovation and business development. It brings together more than 600 organisations: in Burgundy the regional chamber of commerce and industry is the local representative. One of its goals is to help companies identify commercial, technical or R&D partners in Europe. By working with the organisers of the Taste-Nutrition-Health Congress, we aim to foster partnership meetings between companies and researchers of various European countries that are brought together by the Congress.
Who can take part in the business meetings?
All companies, whatever their size, R&D laboratories and technical centres. The advantage of these individual and confidential meetings is that they offer participants a more formal means way of targeting their contacts and find a potential partner from the regional, national or international pool. The participants choose their contacts (from a catalogue of offers and requests of know-how and technologies) which go a long way to making the meeting extremely efficient.
How are the meetings organised?
You only need to tick the relevant box when filling in your on-line registration for the Congress. You will then receive a link to the catalogue website (http://b2match.eu/taste-nutrition-health2011/) where you can fill in your online profile (offer or request of technology, know-how, R&D partner search etc.). You can also choose the profiles of other participants for meetings. Before the Congress, you will receive your individual schedule planned around your free time.
This will be the 5th time the business meetings have taken place in Dijon: what results are there from the previous editions?
80% of previous participants were satisfied with the business meetings and 90% claimed to have reached their objectives. In 2009, more than 300 meetings were organised of which half involved two people of different nationalities.
